Austin Tahiliani, Biologist & Arborist - Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio), ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor, B.Sc. Natural Resources Conservations

Austin is a Biologist and Arborist with a B.Sc. in Natural Resources Conservation from the University of British Columbia. Having lived, worked, and recreated across the Salish Sea since 2015, he has developed a deep connection and fascination with the ecology of our region. He is passionate about connecting people to their natural surroundings and ensuring these beautiful spaces can be enjoyed by generations to come. At Diamond Head, Austin works across the Biology, Arboriculture, and Forestry departments to provide creative solutions to his clients’ needs. He regularly conducts environmental assessments and arboricultural inventories that helps clients navigate legislation during their projects. He also works on municipal-scale projects to help cities improve biodiversity and enhance green space in the urban landscape. Austin recently developed an Invasive Species Management and Restoration Plan for the Vancouver Landfill which will increase wildlife habitat at this complex site. Over the next 5 years, Austin’s goal is to continue applying himself to impactful projects that work toward a more sustainable future for all.
