Alison Kwan, Biologist - RPBio, B.Sc. Biology, B.Sc. Ecological Restoration

Alison is a biologist with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Restoration from BCIT. Alison has a strong passion for the environment and its protection. At Diamond Head, Alison has worked on a variety of projects involving ecological inventories, environmental assessments, regulatory permitting, and environmental monitoring. Her experience with these projects ranges from small sites to larger complex projects requiring a well-versed understanding of regulatory requirements at all levels of government. Alison also has experience with policy and planning projects related to environmentally sensitive areas, development permit areas, and biodiversity conservation strategies. Through her work on these policy projects, she has participated and led engagement session with project stakeholders, technical committees, the public, and First Nation groups.  

With her passion for the environment, Alison strives to utilize her ecological restoration experience to protect sensitive natural areas and restore and enhance impacted areas to build resiliency and preserve biodiversity for current and future generations.
