Our story

Founded in 2001, Diamond Head has completed over 3,000 projects for more than 1,000 clients while our team has grown to include over 70 professional and operational staff. Our brand promise speaks to our core values: we are collaborativewe work with nature; we are strategic; we are creative; we build lasting value.

DHC’s founding partners started their careers working in the alpine ecosystems around the Diamond Head area of Garibaldi Provincial Park. Their passion for this area was the inspiration behind the company’s name.

our philosophy

DHC is a community leader in social responsibility and environmental sustainability. As a company that works to protect, restore and enhance the natural environment, we strive for environmental excellence in all of our decisions and processes. We are committed to integrating social and environmental considerations into all of our activities and believe that conserving resources, minimizing environmental impacts and reducing our ecological footprint are a corporate and a personal responsibility.

DHC regularly contributes staff time and expertise as part of its commitment to the environment and community: we volunteer our time for a minimum of four environmental stewardship projects annually. Recent activities include participation in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, contribution of planting crews for 2,500 plants in the Camosun Bog (Pacific Spirit Park), planting and maintaining hedgerows as part of the Delta Farm and Wildlife Trust's Hedgerow Stewardship Program, and working with the Vancouver Parks Board to restore Gibby’s Field, a historically significant park near our head office.
