Project Arborist for the UBC South Campus and Main Mall Redevelopment

Diamond Head Consulting is contracted by UBC Properties Trust to provide ongoing services as they relate to arboriculture for the UBC South Campus development, the re-development of Main Mall, East Campus Park, East Mall, Ponderosa Hub, Memorial Road, and University Boulevard. Our services have included initial tree/forest assessment, risk assessments, tree retention strategies, overseeing work within critical root zones, Air Spade and Hydro excavations around significant trees, windfirming prescriptions, and ensuring that the vegetation management objectives and environmental regulations are being met.
